Terms of service
Last updated 27 October 2026
1. Who we are
These terms are an agreement between you and VisionDock AI (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use VisionDock AI on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for it.
2. The service
VisionDock AI analyses video recordings you upload, detects supported objects such as people and vehicles, and presents the results as timestamped events with evidence images. The service is in active development; we may add, change or remove features, and we will tell you about changes that materially affect you.
3. Your account
Keep your login details secure and tell us promptly if you think your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up.
4. Your footage
You keep all rights to the footage you upload and the results generated from it. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that footage solely to provide the service to you. We do not use your footage to train models or for any other purpose.
You must only upload footage you have the right to use, and you are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to recording and analysing it, including giving any notices required to people who are recorded.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload footage you obtained unlawfully or without the necessary permissions;
- use the service to identify, profile or unlawfully monitor individuals;
- use results as the sole basis for decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on a person, such as disciplinary action, without human review;
- attempt to access other customers' data, probe or disrupt the service, or bypass its security;
- reverse engineer the service or resell it without our written permission.
6. Limits of automated analysis
Detections are produced automatically by a computer-vision model. They can miss events or flag the wrong object, and confidence scores are not a guarantee of correctness. Always check results against the source footage before relying on them. The service is not designed for safety-critical or emergency use.
7. Privacy
Our privacy policy explains what we collect and how we handle it. It forms part of these terms.
8. Suspension and closing your account
You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time through the contact page. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, putting you on notice first unless the breach is serious or the law prevents it.
9. Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from reliance on automated results without review. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; if a change is significant we will notify you before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
